The Sony FE 50mm F2.5 G lens delivers high resolution and beautiful bokeh in an ultra-compact lightweight package, featuring aspherical lens elements for sharp detail across the entire image and an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element to reduce chromatic aberration. Its dual linear autofocus motors keep up with the most demanding cameras for high speed AF tracking.

The high-quality G Lens optical design incorporates two aspherical lens elements for sharp detail and one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element that reduces chromatic aberration for outstanding corner-to-corner resolution. In addition, the state-of-the-art optical design takes maximum advantage of the short flange back, unique to mirrorless cameras, to realize stunning compactness at 68mm diameter x 45mm and a weight of only 174g.
