The Sony Lens Hood ALC-SH168 is a replacement hood for the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II (SEL2470GM2). The lens hood protects the front glass from dust, dirt and scratches. The filter adjustment window on this hood is designed to improve the usage of rotating filter types (such as polarizers and variable NDs) without requiring the removal of the hood.
